Job Description:
(10 hrs per week minimum – earn college credits)
We are putting together a campaign to amplify the leadership voice of the Millennial generation and seeking an outstanding FL university student to co-lead this effort with us. You provide the link between ideas and execution. Candidate must have strong leadership skills to inspire, articulate, be diplomatic, resourceful, and tenacious. Must have ability to reach and attract the Millennial generation for Florida’s future.
Key Responsibilities
- Devise strategy to highlight and address the unique leadership opportunities and challenges facing the Millennial generation
- Research and design an enrolling campaign
- Be a spokesperson at functions, events, college campuses
- Spread the mission statement of WiseTribe
- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Networking and community organizing
Qualifications
- Highly motivated and independent, yet team-oriented
- Strong time and task management skills
- Experience working with diverse groups of people
- Group facilitation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work some weekends and evenings and have reliable transportation
- Proficient in social media, internet, and office applications such as Excel and Google Drive
Preferred Education
Studying for Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, social change, community advocacy or related.
