WiseTribe is an emerging social movement inspiring wisdom exchanges between diverse cultures and generations to build a wiser world together.
WiseTribe University Relations will be key to our growth and we are seeking an intern this summer the groundwork for this strategy, mainly through internet research, scheduling calls with university student groups or faculty and a handful of in-person meetings with FL Us. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in building something from the ground up with a creative team of social entrepreneurs. You will gain a variety of business insights and hands on-experience while contributing to the creation of something meaningful for society.
We are looking for a bright, resourceful, creative interns of strong moral character to join our small though growing team. This intern must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. They will also have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities.
Job Description
- Manage Outreach Strategy
- Research Florida Universities – community engagement program
- University liaison for all WiseTribe projects by supporting all communications and interdepartmental coordinations
- Support all details including internal communications, operations, PR and others management may identify
- Post to social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to show acknowledgement of FL university news
- Attend meetings as needed, take notes and identify follow up actions with appropriate communications
- Conduct research and compile reports as needed

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2 to 3 years of work experience, ideally in digital marketing or marketing communication
