WiseTribe is growing and making progress in South Florida. Our latest community development project, Dysfunctions of the Decades & a Functional Future was featured in the Sun Sentinel.
Changing World Prompts need for WiseTribe
WiseTribe founder, Jacqueline Botting, shared with the Sun Sentinel her personal story for founding the organization. Personal experience and visionary insight prompted Jacqueline to start an education non-profit which strengthens communities through collaborative learning experiences that are forward thinking in nature.
Dysfunctions of the Decades & a Functional Future is a perfect example of WiseTribe’s efforts to bring people together for dialogue and collectively explore our history while prompting the conversation forward towards a future we wish to live in. This six week project explores topics of Nationalism vs Globalism, future of education, technology, relationships, food, activism and mindfulness. It concludes the evening of Earth Day, April 22nd with a community co-created pop-up arts & culture exhibit reflecting the subject matter discussed over the six week journey and a series of short TED-like Talks.
Everyone is welcome to join in participating in this project and you can follow us on Facebook to stay current on the events for Dysfunctions of the Decades & a Functional Future.
