Job Description:
(10 hrs per week minimum / Earn College Credits)

To effectively promote the WiseTribe social movement, we seek a dynamic, wise-thinking, fast-acting public relations and special events intern. You are a big picture person who is a perfectionist when it comes to the details that establish par excellence. Ranging from campaign development to tactical execution, you will help WiseTribe develop and execute successful events, social media, and public relations strategies. You will assist with monitoring, publishing, measurement and reporting activities to make sure we’re on the right track.

You must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, task-focused, diplomatic, and a creative problem solver who can manage multiple facets of organizing and planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute PR strategy to promote and implement the WiseTribe brand
  • Plan WiseTribe events from beginning to end
  • Conduct data analysis, trends, and conduct surveys
  • Research and establish list of key influencers and actively promote our mission to them
  • Implement crowdfunding campaign utilizing marketing, PR, & SM skills to ensure success
  • Research and present best blogs for WiseTribe cross promotion
  • Write WiseTribe blog posts of 500 words twice weekly and push to social media channels

Qualifications

  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Social Media savvy with the ability to engage and build social media followers
  • Strong people skills, a sense of humor and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Resourceful team-player, with self starter capability
  • Proficient in MS Office, Social Media, Google Drive, and a quick learner on basic marketing technologies such as MailChimp, SurveyMonkey
  • Photoshop, graphic design and video editing experience a major plus

Preferred Education

Studying for Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communication, Multimedia Studies or related fields
