Job Description:
WiseTribe is producing video content to promote our mission and share the positive stories emerging out of WiseTribe’s efforts to build greater levels of collaboration.
We seek a Production Assistant to help with all aspects of production. You will gain experience in creating compelling stories that communicate WiseTribe’s mission and move people into action. You will be responsible for conceptualizing the heart of a story, creating storyboards, shooting video, organizing and editing footage. You must be familiar with general technology and tools used to make video projects.
You must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, task-focused, be resourceful and a creative thinker.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce videos including pre-production planning, storyline, messaging, equipment set-up, filming to final edit, management sign-offs and file management
- Event filming of WiseTribe events and interview participants
- Pre-production including site scouting, walk-throughs, shooting elements, equipments and budgets
- Schedule all production meetings and ensure proper communication, shot list & timeline
- Post-production project management which ensures management objectives and sign-offs
- Ensure shooting style is aligned with project objectives
- Communicate storyline coherently, enthusiastically, credibly or as deemed appropriate and all pre-production is focused on key communication strategy
- Absorb creative direction in line with WiseTribe mission and objectives
- Consider organization key video projects and suggest ideas that sustain our mission
- Work with marketing and graphics to construct stories in line with brand
- Prioritize all projects & creative submission in accordance to organizational objectives
Requirements
- 2+ years as videographer & editor or video samples which you either created, logged, edited and shot
- Detail-oriented & able to work with minimal supervision
- Can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ideally based in Delray/Boca Raton, willing to travel for film production purposes
- Industry standard video & audio editing software, including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, After Effects and solid understanding of industry standards
- Graphics building, animation building a plus
- Knowledge of marketing & visual branding a plus
Preferred Education
Studying for Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Multimedia Studies and/or Film School technical training degree, (experience will be considered based on work submission).
