How amazing is this?! The Intergenerational Learning Center in Seattle, Washington – it’s just the most inspired idea ever! Placing the very young with the very old, what great things they can learn from one another. Playing together, talking, singing, sharing, listening – every city needs one of these centers.
This video documentary that Filmmaker Evan Briggs has put together over the course of several months helps to open our eyes to the importance – more than that – the necessity of bringing these generations together to provide community, companionship, friendship, joy, sharing and learning from one other.
Break out the tissues, because this isn’t fluff. It’s real and it cuts to the heart.
